FAQ

The club membership year runs from 1st July to 30th June but you can join anytime.

We welcome women from all over the world.  Our club is english speaking so a good level of english is required.

Le Wic de Paris is a membership fee based private club. Membership is via application.

Membership includes access to our activities (over 30 activities per month), monthly newsletters, membership directory and more!   Check out all our membership benefits here

Activity groups generally meet during the day, on a weekly or monthly basis.  Some of our pop-ups and special visits may be in the evening and weekend.  Cocktail hour and Dinner around the world are in the evening.

We are always looking to add more activities so if you have an interest or idea let us know!

Our monthly meetings are held at Patronage laïque Jules Vallès, 72 Av. Félix Faure, 75015 Paris.

Coffee mornings on Mondays are at EXKi Kléber, 8 Av. Kléber, 75016 Paris and on Fridays at Le Jardin du Petit Palais,  Avenue Winston Churchill, 75008 Paris.

Activity groups and hospitality events meet in members homes generally within Paris.

Special events, cocktail evenings, and such meet all over Paris.

We strive to find locations that are easily accessible by metro.

We invite you to attend a monthly meeting and/or a morning coffee to learn more about the club and meet us in person.  Please contact membership@pariswic.org for more info!

The annual membership fee is 55 euros.

Activities are run by our members for our members and are included in the annual membership fee.

Food and drink consumption, materials fees, museum entrance fees and tour guide fees are extra.  However, often we are able to take advantage of special group discounts not available to the general public.

For more information about the Club and/or becoming a member, please contact our Membership Coordinator, by filling in the information form or send an e-mail to membership@pariswic.org.

Recognizing that we have more and more working members we have been introducing more evening events. We have both regular evening events as well as “pop-up” irregular evening events. As an example, here are the activities for the month of March 2024.

  • Our two regularly scheduled monthly activities that are in the evening are a monthly cocktail (in March the Windo SkyBar) and dinner around the world (in March a Caribbean restaurant)
  • In March we had a pop-up Japanese cooking class where members got  together in someone’s home in the evening to learn, cook and eat together.
  • Our special visits are usually during the day but in March the special visit was a guided tour of the Philharmonic and a concert and therefore the special visit was in the evening.
  • There is a pop-up evening visit to a comedy cafe.
  • We also have events that our members invite others to.  This month a Finnish member has invited guests to a concert at the embassy, and a musical member has invited guests to a chamber music concert in which her son and members from the Paris Philharmonic will be playing.   These are posted in our members only WhatsApp group.

We are delighted that you are considering joining le WIC!
